I took a long break and tried to bury all the unhappy stuff, so I went travelling which is a much needed break for me.

I just felt that maybe I should move on but it's not as easy as I think...

I was travelling for business as usual and I stumbled across this really beautiful + gorgeous bathroom in one of the hyatt hotels... oh my gosh I was so happy I could do umpteen times of bath soaking in there! I think the bathroom is one of the most important room for all ladies as we will need to do all that grooming and beautifying stuff in there! Thus a fabulous bathroom is important... I wish that I can have mine in this way...

This pinkish princess-like color is from CASTLEDEW (Korean Brand) which is really fool-proof and you don't need much skills to get a satisfying polish. I really love this so I bought many other colors from this brand too!

Guess what? I was soOOooOoO excited when I got to have a pair of tickets to SEX AND THE CITY 2 movie gala premiere!! And I also received a super nice doorgift on SJP LOVELY range uxurious fragrance, Gel wash and Body Lotion, not forgetting the sinful GODIVA yum chocolates!

And there I was, all dressed up in my ZARA checkered tube-dress with my pashmina shawl, all ready to attend the event, and of cos I invited my other half there too. (though it's not really a guy's movie but he agreed! Happy!)

After we redeemed our sponsored popcorns and colas, we proceeded into the theatre where the entire venue was booked for this event and all theatres are showing SATC2 movie! The whole movie place was filled with ONLY SATC2 posters & the press tha trade people were all there. What an opening for SATC!

This time round, these 4 ladies went to a foreign exotic place Abu Dhabi for a holiday instead of their usual New York city... from I understand the scenes were produced in Morocco as they are not able to flim in the actual Abu Dhabi.

I felt that overall the movie was pretty funny at certain parts but also felt that the four stars have kinda lost their sparkle. The ladies seemed to age a little more than what the audience expected so they kinda do not look as good as the first movie. But well, women aged and it's a cold hard fact that cannot be change. Some even suggested that these ladies should go for a little botox treatment before they flim...or perhaps the cameraman was too close to every shot to unfortunately capture the not so ideal details.

The fashion was okay but not super delicious...but there's a green dress ( I think it's Stella McCartney's) that is really nice at the end...all these are just my personal opinions so does not represent all. Okay that's all I'm gonna tell till you watch it yourself haha..so U do your own critic.

I love Bangkok very much, it is a place of nice people, fantastic food, shopping hub for all the shopaholics in Asia, the fave place for retreats, spa and massages... this is how I will describe the Bangkok I used to know...

My beautiful memories of one of my fave holiday location - Bangkok

Now it's filled with the hatred and grievances of the different colored shirts... the helpless innocents and the whole upsetting situation between people and their leaders... this place have turned into a warzone and it's really heart-wrenching...

Well, I see ageing here in just a good 5 years and she turned from a young gorgeous youth to a more mature and sensual woman... What's going to happen in the next 5 years??? Women age chronologically and physically due to both inside and outside of the body respectively. What we can do is to take care of both inside with a healthy diet (someone once said something like that " YOU ARE WHAT YOU EAT") and outside with quality and suitable products to protect your skin from the environment around you and your lifestyle...

Hahaha, and this is funny - U can achieve fuller lips with YOGA!

Meet the Designer - Nicolas Ghesquière

When Nicolas Ghesquière's name appears in print, superlatives usually follow. Shortly after his appointment as creative director of Balenciaga in 1997, at the age of 26, the fashion press contorted itself into attitudes of obeisance. In particular, the critics noted his uncanny ability to jump-start and influence trends. In 2006, The New York Times went so far as to call him the most important designer of his generation.

His approach combines elements respectfully poached from Balenciaga's rich heritage with futuristic flourishes (futuristic, often, in the retro-sixties sense). Slices of shantung and plastic might adorn a sack dress; a color-saturated floral print from the house archives might be worked into a sculpted bell dress paired with knee-high leather gladiator boots.

Ghesquière, whose Belgian father was a swimming coach, was born in Lille, France, and announced his intention to become a fashion designer as a teenager. An internship at Agnès B. followed, and he eventually landed an assistant gig at Jean Paul Gaultier. When an opening on Balenciaga's design team cropped up, Ghesquière jumped at the chance. Two years later, he was promoted to creative director.

His signature looks include the skinny pant, sharply tailored dresses in techno materials like embroidered latex or patent leather, motorcycle jackets, gold metal "robot" leggings, and anything with a dramatic shoulder (be it voluminous and rounded or a batwing).

Under Ghesquière, the house has expanded into menswear and made a huge splash with accessories, particularly handbags and shoes. In 2001, he was honored with the CFDA's International Award. In January 2008, he was made a Chevalier of Arts and Letters, the highest arts accolade one can receive from the French government.

Tell me about it, I have a few freckles on my upper cheeks n I think they make me look tired but sometimes I find them pretty cute too...Mixed feelings... I often uses whitening products to lighten them so that they do not expand. *crossed my fingers, hope they will not merge and form a map haha.. well, runs in the blood cos my mum has got a lot of 'em!

Needless to say Kate Moss is like the iconic person to represent the imperfect perfect beauty. She's not the tallest model, not with the best facial features, far from traditionally hour-glass body and not even the best skin or hair. But when you see kate, you see perfect beauty. This is what I mean. Then it's LONGCHAMP. My longchamp works for me every occasion, every environment and you can put almost everthing inside without distorting the shape of the bag. Its lifespan is also something very very commendable, no matter how I throw/dump/wash/squeeze it, it just stays so intact. Love it so much except that everywhere I go now, everyone has got a longchamp. Well, those were the days and it has definitely comes a long way. THE INVITATION

I was there! A really interesting "show" or rather installation art + fashion performance.

The venue is already LOUD enough to make you want to be there. To be honest, I have never been to a PRISON before (don't wanna be there for whatever reasons as well) but it's indeed an eye-opener!

Simple BOLD and clean UNDERSTATEMENT truly defines my perpective of Calvin Klein. The brand never fails to bring out the best in simplicity. And you know what, my boss is actually a great fan of CK. Almost her entire wardrobe is filled with CK. Well, till I accumulated enough of my riches....CK awaits my support!

We were NOT allowed to take any pictures inside and the security is very strict. My girlfriend try to use her mobile but was asked to put it away by the "guard" rightaway. So these pics below, were found from another site with authority to publish. I took some of my own pics at the chill-out area which I will share with all of you in my next post ya! ;P

Hey there babes, i bought a new pair of summer shoes~ yeah just another excuse to buy shoes anyway heehee (cos it's SUMMER all 24/7/365 in Singapore) ... It's the all-famous strappy "gladiator" ones, that's what my bf calls it whenever I put on one of those. This one is a really good buy cos it's super affordable and COMFORTABLE!! yup most important factor for me when it comes to buying shoes. It can go along with jeans, capris, leggings, funky dresses and the studs make it look a lil tough not overly feminine so I like it! I also added some pics above, which I came across while browzing the style webbies, searching for inspirations. Hope they can be useful for you gals too! :)

Do You Know???

Pores can actually shrink back to their normal size if they'r clear of dirt and oil accumulation. I've been having this problem since my teenage days till now I tend to read up more and take more care to my skin. now my pores are not as visible as those days. Phew!~

So how to achieve? Cultivating a good habit of daily cleansing, once-a-week scrub to clean deeper & remove the built up dead skin is the first step. I love to use oil-control masks with oil zapping contents like salicylic acid and clay masks like LANCOME's Pure Emprinte (not sure if spelling's correct, but this product is my savior!) and I always felt that my skin is softer, brighter and clear of bumps after using this! I also like to detox and treat my face with Benefit's "honey snap out of it!" 2-in-1 scrub cum mask. Love the organic feel of this product with kernel oats and you can smell almond and honey on your face!

FYI: The pic above is actually part of a mushroom in case u think that's real human pores! haha

Yes, I changed my blogsite's background color. I thought that will sorta add new fresh breath to my site. I have been checking some of these videos and blogs recently and they really give me some inspirations on what I'm currently doing. These people really enjoy what they are doing and ultimately it's really satisfactory for them to know that what they've been doing are helping out alot of pple out there. They are all very individualistic yet the makeup they do somehow appeals to me and I enjoy playing with my makeup like how they do! It's making statements but still wearable and versatile! Bring your LASHES back to life! Yes, in this post, I'd like to share with you guys on the current products that I so into for my lashes. Nothing is more awakening then a swoosh of mascara to give ur lashes the OOHMMM factor! Bright looking eyes right away!

Hmmm, I have a pretty sequential routine for my lashes. As I've got oily eyelids so I absolutely need to apply a primer beforehand in order to prevent smudges of my eye makeup, which also includes mascaras. (My Tip: Eye Base/ eye primer also helps to prevent smudges of eyeliners and mascaras!)

Then I curl my lashes after I got my eyeliner on. The curling should be done quickly and ensure every strand of lash is curled so they look synchronise. You SHOULD NOT press the curler for too long (thinking that will make them more long-lasting) as this action will causes ur lashes to break very easily in turn, u will left with very little of them.

A good lash base is the secret for fuller and more long-lasting hold of your lashes so invest in a good base. Some mascaras come in a duo pack where you have the base on one side and the mascara on the other.

After distributing the base evenly on the lashes, I will apply a mascara that will give me the desired result/look for the day. For example, you'r going for the voluptous and full lashes, use a volumizing mascara which also creates lots of density! For natural looking lashes, a simple curling and lengthening one is good enough. Lancome's virtuose is pretty good for its curling effect!

These are the products that I'm currently using and I'm really satisfied.

1)KAI eyelash curler (From Japan)
2)Majorlica Lash Coat Base (White one)
3)Sguard's ROCK ON - this one is super figerwig, extremely natural yet super lengthening! I love the effect as though the long lashes r really own!
4)Majorlica Lash Enamel Glamour - Very easy application with good hold and best part is it's waterproof enough to withstand my oily lids. (Especially now the weather is super summerish)

And guess what? I still have lots of mascaras in my collection which I've not touched them yet. Like theses below!

Just came back from a shooping trip and guess what? I bought a whole lot of accessories from DIVA and they are just simply irresistable!! THEY ARE NOT FOR MYSELF though... they are presents!I've decided to give them away as gifts so really HAPPY for these lucky people that are going to receive these prezzies! I think DIVA's stuff are really awesome and they are super affordable!! I spend less than SGD70 bucks (less than USS50!!). They look extremely easy to maintain and I try to avoid those coated with paint cos they normally tend to fade and get scratch easily.

Ain't these cute stuff interesting??!! I bought 6^ in total and each of them is individually nice!
But these are more of simple and not as chunky as some of my usual accessories. Cos I often go for chunky ones to disguise my petiteness... (dun think it works! hahaha)

ORRHHHH... isn't this just so sweet? the bright pink bangles with heart-shaped pendant. I was just thinking if I've a baby girl, I'd probably doll her up with all the cutest and lovely stuff... so she'll look like a REAL princess! Heehee.

I didn't know that Bare Escentuals was actually from San Francisco until I got my very own set of starter kit - bareMinerals by Bare Escentuals! Everybody is like talking about how good this mineral powder is and I've decided to pick this up to pamper myself from a Sephora store while I was travelling for work. I wanted to get the ala carte foundation alone but the salegirl was just so good with the calculation that in the end, she persuaded me to get the set and I thought why not? (Colors on the pics might not be justifying as I took these pics at night so kinda dark, oops!)

Thanks to all of u who have posted me several suggestions on what I can do for my upcoming posts. While I'm preparing on my next post, let me share a little with you guys on the magz I bought during my last trip. Yes - VIVI u saw it? BEAUTY which has lots of beauty tips and updates to keep myself abreast of the technology and CAWAII is sorta a more cutesy mag but lots of inspiration overflow cos they r so extremely cute! Then <mina> which is a more feminine and lifestyle mag with interesting array of fashion, makeup, food, stuff... Well, want a sneak peak? There you go...

Look at that! These magz usually have a theme that each editorial or issue will set, the models will dress up according to the theme and there are just countless findings on fashion, makeup, accessories on the theme alone! U name it, they have it! I'm serious.

I also love to see how they bring the readers around every part of the world in search for more interesting designs and trends adopted from other parts of the world. They'll then incorporate into their current style. This is how the fashion evolves, isn't it?!

After my one week stay at Hong Kong, I managed to do some shopping but not definitely not enough cos I'm still on a business trip, not for leisure. It's okay, better than nothing cos I really need a breather from all the recent events.

I just bought the latest copy of ViVi magazine and making some references from it. Just like to share about some of the interesting trends that I read. One of which is the ribbons and bows that I mentioned in my last post. It's still a very classic trend just that the designs of the bows evolve a bit here and there. I waw browzing on the net looking for some inspirations for my fashion n beauty research, and guess what, I found this South Korean girl group created by YG Entertainment called 2NE1. Well, you can pronounce the group as "to anyone" mmm, or "twenty-one". They started in a CYON commercial and then lotsa more with BIG BANG for LG telecom then relesased their debut single "Fire" on May 6, 2009.

I was attracted by their cool sense of fashion with a mixed genre of ganji style + pop + hip hop + retro + quirky... really colorful and fun to look at! E accessories and shoes are also pretty interesting! So much for the K-pop fashion... enjoy their videos!

Yup, I'm a S size but I must say tees are really nice and comfortable to wear and lots of fun too. I got these 2 from a pushcart near raffles city area and they pretty cheap but not as good deal as bangkok. Oh i wish I can go there again! 10 Basic Steps to Achieve Full Makeup Effect

These are the steps which you can do to achieve a "full makeup"effect.

(Makeup Base is optional)
1) Foundation
Foundations are use to even up skin tone and cover light imperfections. Comes in liquid and powder forms. (If you are using the powder ones, use after concealers.)
LIquid ones are more hydrating and more suitable for dry skin while powdered ones are better for oily or conbination skin.

2) Concealer
Concealers does the job to conceal all kinds of imperfections like blemishes, dark circles, pigmentations and even scars. However, you have to choose the right texture and coverage for best results. They come in liquid, cream, cake and even powder forms!

3) Powder
The powder I am refering here is fixing powder, also commonly known as loose powder or pressed powder. Loose powder comes in loose form for a light and natural finishing. Pressed ones are more compact for travelling and on the move.

4) Eye Shadows
Usually, 2 shades will be enough for the day look and 3shades for the evening especially if you are attending a party or event!

5) Eye Liner
Eye liner comes in liquid and pencil forms. For starters, pencils are strongly recommended. Liquid gives a more define look while pencil can be blended with a sponge tip for a softer look.

6) Eyebrow Pencil/Kit
Eyebrows can be groomed and drawn with an eyebrow pencil or a more professional eyebrow kit which normally comes with a tweezer. Some even comes with wax for holding the powder.

7) Mascara
Mascaras are use to create beautiful lashes in terms of lengthening, curling, volumnizing and seperating. You can opt for a waterproof one if you have oily eyelids or your makeup tends to smudge easily.

8) Blusher
Blushers comes in the form of cream, powder and now even liquid. If use skillfully, you can create highcheek bones and even contour your face shape!

9) Lip Color
Lip pencils or lipsticks in various colors (pink, red, peach, brown etc)can enhance your natural lip color or even enhance your entire look. By using a lip liner to define the lips first and make the lip color more long lasting.

10) Lip Gloss

Lip gloss is the key step to make your lips pouty and healthy! Try to go for a shade that suits your existing range of lip colors so you can create combinations of different looks.

The Veronicas are sisters Jess and Lisa (Twins/Ninja Pixies). Both girls have been singing, and writing since they were young.
Jess has been known to date her guitar on a regular basis, but is currently having an affair with a Bass. Plans to save the world one foot in mouth statement at a time. Doesn't think before she inks...but is happy with that. Enjoys Kolas, does not enjoy fascists. Empowers freedom of speech, unless it differs from her views. KIDDING.kinda.
Lisa started dabbling in playing Synth and experimenting in string samples recently, until she puts her passion for wanting to learn drums into motion. Indecisive in most things. Will popacapinyour.. if you challenge her integrity.. or her sister. Enjoys Vinegar, does not enjoy sneaky, selfish people who only speak to hear the sound of their own voices.

The first ever fragrance created by Gabrielle Coco Chanel that is known to be the world's "most lengendary perfume". It was said to be the 5th formula presented to Coco Chanel and commisioned by famous "nose" Ernest Beaux and was named N5 thereafter. The olfactory of this perfume is Floral-aldehydes.

Many productions were done to pay tribute to this reowned fragrance like the first Chanel N5 commercial featuring Estella Warren, Chanel N5 movie by Baz Luhrmann casting Nicole Kidman and now the latest flim by Jean-Pierre casting Audrey Tatou.

As from Coco Chanel, "I want to give women an artificial perfume, Yes, I really do mean artificial, like a dress, something that has been made. I don't want any rose or lily of the valley, I want a perfume that is a composition." Chanel N5 is famous for its synthetic floral-aldehydes notes and the unique secret formula is not achievable by other perfume houses. This is the key factor that makes Chanel N5 the true legendary scent that is irreplacable, in my opinion.

My first impression of this scent is high-end, luxurious and overly feminine, almost embodied with women's natural body scent. It reminded me of my mother, a figure who is so feminine, undescribly classic. Whenever I uses this fragrance, I felt that I'm not worthy of it perhaps because I'm not yet a "woman" or a mother yet. The design and packaging is truly an art.
